Wiesław Byczkowski

Wiesław Byczkowski holds a law degree from the University of Gdańsk. From 1994 to 1998 he was Vice-President of Gdynia and Vice-Chair of its City Council, and from 1994 to 2000 President of the Association of Coastal Cities and Municipalities. He served on the Pomeranian Voivodeship Management Board from 2006 to 2010 and became Vice-Marshal (Deputy Marshal) of the Pomeranian Voivodeship in 2010, being re-elected to the role in November 2018. He has also been a board member of the Baltic Sea States Subregional Co-operation and the Baltic Euroregion.

He gave the keynote at Mare Forum's 2nd Mare Forum Poland 2017 and was a panellist at the 1st Mare Forum Poland 2016.
