Ted H. Burger

Upon graduation from the State University of New York Maritime College in 1999, Ted Burger was employed by KeySpan Energy's Northport Power Plant Operations Department as an Operations Associate Engineer for a year and a half, working as an emissions and energy analyst. In 2000, Ted joined SeaRiver Maritime, Inc., where he served as a licensed engine officer aboard various sized crude tankers. He transferred ashore in 2005 and has held increasingly responsible positions in the company's Operations and Commercial departments.

In 2013, Ted was appointed to his current assignment as Environmental/Hazard Risk Assessment Advisor, in which he is responsible for managing the environmental aspects of SeaRiver's fleet operations and the company's risk management programs. Ted holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (with honors) from the State University of New York Maritime College and an MBA with a concentration in Environmental Management from the University of Houston - Clear Lake (with honors).
