Taco van der Mast

Taco van der Mast is a partner at Bendel, van der Mast & Co. B.V. in Laren, the Netherlands, a corporate finance and private equity boutique he and his partners established in 1998. He is also a member of the Board of the De Poli Tankers group, based in Barendrecht, the Netherlands, a medium-sized owner of chemical tankers and gas carriers.

From 2002 to 2010, Mr. Van der Mast was Managing Director at NIBC Bank N.V. in The Hague. From 1985 to 1998, he worked at J.P. Morgan & Co. in London and Amsterdam as a Managing Director responsible for the bank's global shipping business sector and also for its corporate business in the Netherlands. Earlier, from 1975 to 1985, he worked at Royal Vopak N.V., a Dutch tank storage and transportation group, with postings in Rotterdam, Jakarta and London. Mr. Van der Mast graduated from the Ecole supérieure de Commerce in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, and holds a Master's degree in Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands.
