Stefano Bertilone

Stefano Bertilone is the General Manager for Greece, Middle East and Africa of RINA Services S.p.A. Born in Genova, Italy in 1961, he graduated in Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Genova in 1987, and in 1988 joined RINA as a marine surveyor, gaining experience in both the newbuilding and ships-in-service sectors, including a period in Denmark from 1994 to 1996.

In 1998 he was Project Manager for Passenger Ships at RINA Head Office in Genova, Italy. After managing First Classification and then the Oil, Chemical and Gas section within the Fleet in Service Department at RINA Head Office, he moved to Greece in 2004 to be Business Area Manager for marine activities, and in 2009 became Marine Regional Manager for South Europe, also covering technical responsibilities for the area. His current role as General Manager for Greece, Middle East and Africa covers commercial, technical and managerial duties across Marine, Certification and Industrial activities for RINA Services S.p.A.
