Sidanta Arus

Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, Arus Sidanta is Business Manager for Oil & Gas of RINA Indonesia, responsible for setting direction for RINA's business growth in the energy sector in Indonesia. He joined RINA Indonesia in early 2012. Prior to his current role, he was Managing Director for PT Teknika Sinergi Utama, an Indonesian company providing offshore logistics support for drilling waste services. He also served as Country Manager and President Director for Scomi Oiltools Ltd. in Indonesia from 2006 until 2009, managing the company's core drilling waste management and drilling fluid engineering business, and serving major international and national oil and gas operators including BP, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Total Indonesie, VICO, Pertamina, PetroChina, CNOOC, Pearl Oil and Medco.

A longstanding member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Indonesia Petroleum Association, Arus has spent 25 years focused on oil and gas business activities, having worked with major international services companies including Halliburton, Bureau Veritas and the Scomi Group in a variety of senior management roles since 1987. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Satya Wacana Christian University in Salatiga, Indonesia.
