Sherice Arman is a Partner and co-head of the Asset Finance practice at Maples Group's Cayman Islands office, advising on banking and asset finance, fund and corporate finance and regulated M&A. She joined Maples Group in 2013 and was elected partner in 2016, having previously practised with a law firm in the Cayman Islands and earlier in the British Virgin Islands.
She holds a BA and LLB from the University of the West Indies and an LLM from University College London, and is admitted to the Cayman Islands bar. She was named in the Top 100 Women in Shipping in 2024.
She spoke at 13 Mare Forum events between 2014 and 2017, moderating sessions at the 4th and 5th Cayman Islands Shipping Summits and two editions of Super Yacht Americas.
