Ralf Nagel

Ralf Nagel was State Secretary in Saxony-Anhalt from 1994 to 2000, first in the housing, urban development and transport ministry and then in the economics ministry. From 2000 until after the 2005 federal election he was State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing in Berlin.

He was a board member of the consultancy Putz & Partner in Hamburg (2006–2007) and from 15 February 2010 was Chief Executive of the German Shipowners' Association (Verband Deutscher Reeder).

He was a panellist at The New European Maritime Policy forum in 2005 and 2006.
