Pieter van der Burg

Pieter van der Burg has been Managing Director at NESEC (Nesec Financieringen B.V.) since 2008, specialising in maritime financing in the Netherlands and North West Europe. His responsibilities include monitoring shipping loan portfolios, maintaining relationships with funding partners, tracking freight market developments and sourcing new financing transactions.

He has spoken at 16 Mare Forum events between 2020 and 2025, moderating five editions of Mare Forum Ship Finance between the 20th and 24th, and is a panellist at the 25th Mare Forum Ship Finance 2026.
