Phil Noad

Phil Noad graduated from Newcastle University in 1993 with a degree in marine technology, holding a British Shipbuilders Corporation scholarship, and trained at Swan Hunter's Shipyard. He spent eight years with Lloyd's Register in Europe and the Far East on passenger shipbuilding projects in Italy, then supervised newbuild projects for Princess Cruises in Italy and France and worked for a UK yacht consultancy.

He joined the Cayman Islands Shipping Registry as a surveyor in 2005, later becoming Deputy Global Director, Safety and Compliance, with an interval working as newbuild project manager for Carnival UK. He is a chartered engineer and a member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects.

He was a panellist at Mare Forum's 4th Cayman Islands Shipping Summit in 2016 and the 2nd Superyacht Americas forum in 2019.
