Panayotis Zacharioudakis

Dr. Panayotis G. Zacharioudakis is the R&D Consultant of OceanFinance Ltd. He holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering (1987) from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), an M.Sc. (2000) in Marine Science and Technology from NTUA as well, an M.Sc. (2002) in Shipping, Trade and Transportation from the University of the Aegean, and a Ph.D. (2007) in Economics and Financial Markets in Shipping from NTUA.

He has worked, lectured, and performed research in the area of Environmental Economics, Financial Engineering (with an emphasis in Shipping Finance), and Logistics. His activity concerns the development of methodologies for investment evaluation in shipping, risk management tools, and modelling of econometric systems. He has seven publications in peer-reviewed journals, three chapters in double-blind peer reviewed books, and 17 full-text peer-reviewed conference publications, and has been scientific coordinator of several research projects funded by the Government of Shanghai/Pudong and the European Commission.
