Modi Mano

Modi Mano established M Sea Capital in 2012, a boutique shipping investment house focused on shipping and offshore investments, ship finance, trade finance and related advisory business; in spring 2013, M Sea secured substantial equity backing and has since built up a fleet, mainly, though not exclusively, in the tanker space.

Prior to that, Modi developed his career within top-tier global shipping institutions. In 2007 he co-founded Navig8 Group, a leader in tanker trading, operations and management, serving as Partner, board member and Chief Investment & Finance Officer; during the same period he was also CFO and a board member of Integr8 Fuels, a global marine fuel trader. From 2003 to 2006, Modi worked for DVB Bank and its NFC Private Equity Shipping Funds as an Investment Manager across a wide range of asset-backed investments, and between 1998 and 2002 he worked at Seagull Maritime Ltd in Israel, in ship operations and chartering. In the past 10 years, Modi has been based in London, Singapore and Rotterdam. He holds a Master's in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School, London, and a BA in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting, Tax & Audit, from the College of Management, Israel.
