Michael Nikolaou

Michael Nikolaou is Professor in the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Houston. He received his PhD from UCLA in 1989 and his Diploma from the National Technical University, Athens, Greece in 1984, both in Chemical Engineering. His research interests are in computer-aided systems engineering and its diverse applications, particularly to the oil & gas and chemicals industries. In addition to his academic research, he has consulted extensively in these industries, and over 25 PhD students from his research group have gone on to successful careers in industry or academia.
