Lewis A Hart

Lewis Hart started his career in 1988 with Lloyd Thompson Limited on North American and Scandinavian shipowners' accounts. As an Associate Director of the Marine Hull Division, he worked as a retail broker in the Lloyd's and London company markets. Lewis joined Willis Faber & Dumas in 1997 as Divisional Director, responsible for developing marine accounts in Europe, specifically Germany and Turkey, and specialising in hull and associated risks, marine/offshore construction, and ports and terminal operations. He was seconded to the Willis Singapore office in 2005 and became Asian Practice Leader in 2007, responsible for building and managing Willis's marine team and its Southeast Asian book of business, including developing risk management programmes and implementing insurance products throughout the Far Eastern and international markets. Lewis has lectured at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and given lectures on numerous executive training programmes and seminars in Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines.
