Jon Waldron practises maritime, international and environmental law at Blank Rome LLP in Washington, D.C., where his current title is Senior Counsel. His work covers environmental maritime compliance and pollution response, vessel and facility operations, coastwise trade, and maritime security compliance.
He served 20 years in the U.S. Coast Guard, retiring as a Commander, and is a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and the University of Miami School of Law. He has been ranked by Chambers USA and Who's Who Legal as a leading shipping and maritime lawyer, and is a visiting professor at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
He spoke as a panellist at four Mare Forum USA events between 2011 and 2016 (the 6th, 7th and 10th editions).
