John A. Xylas

John A. Xylas is President and CEO of Ariston Navigation Corp. and Treasurer of the Union of Greek Shipowners. He was elected Chairman of INTERCARGO, the dry bulk owners' association, in October 2024, taking office on 1 January 2025 in succession to Dimitrios Fafalios.

He spoke at eight Mare Forum events between 2011 and 2015, including four editions of the Blue Shipping Summit/Forum and the Iron Ore & Coal World Shipping Summit.
