João Carlos de Luca

João Carlos de Luca spent 24 years at Petrobras, becoming its youngest Exploration and Production director, before serving as president of Repsol YPF Brasil. He later became a partner at Barra Energia.

He led the Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute (IBP) for 14 years and received the Institute's Leopoldo Miguez award in 2016.

He was a Keynote speaker at Mare Forum's 1st Mare Forum South America in 2011 and a panellist at the 4th Mare Forum Brazil in 2014.
