Dr. Jerzy Majewski was born in Sopot, Poland in 1958. He graduated from the University of Hamburg in Business Economics and earned a PhD in Economics at the same university, before spending 10 years in business consulting. In the late 1990s he joined Dresdner Bank, working in Project Finance in Latin America on mining, gas & oil, and infrastructure projects, including port developments in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. In 2006 he moved into the Shipping Team at Dresdner/Dresdner Kleinwort, responsible for international clients, and in 2008 moved to HSH, where he held various positions responsible for European clients, later serving as Senior Relationship Manager responsible for European clients.
