Jan Valkier

Jan Valkier, born in 1962, holds a Master's degree in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. After completing his studies he worked for four years at Shell International Trading Company and Shell International Petroleum Company in London. In 1992 he joined Anthony Veder in Rotterdam, and in 1999 became Managing Director of Anthony Veder Group N.V.

Mr. Valkier is also a member of the Supervisory Board of FinShip B.V. in Rotterdam, a member of the Supervisory Board of Fairmount Marine B.V. (part of Louis Dreyfus Offshore Services), a member of the Board of KVNR (Royal Association of Netherlands Shipowners), a member of the Board of the Gergiev Festival in Rotterdam, and Honorary Consul of Finland.
