Ioannis Stefanou

Ioannis Stefanou joined Wallem Group in 2014 and, after serving as Technical Director of its ship management business, was appointed Managing Director of Wallem Ship Management, based in Singapore, overseeing ship management, crewing, procurement, marine and SeaSafe Lifeboat inspection services. He previously worked at V.Ships, Teekay and Marflet Marine.

He is a Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council (UK) and holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and master's degrees in Marine Technology and Technical Management of Ship Operations, both from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.

He has spoken at the 4th Mare Forum Hong Kong (2023) and the 6th Mare Forum Singapore, and is a panellist at the 6th Mare Forum Hong Kong (2026).
