Harun Duzgoren

Harun Duzgoren is Group Business Development Director (EMEA Region) at V.Group Ltd. In addition to his business development function within V.Group, Harun has also been acting as Managing Director of V.Ships Turkey since its formation in 2004, and Deputy Managing Director for ITM (International Tanker Management) Dubai office, a wholly owned subsidiary of the V.Ships Group. He previously worked in other V.Ships offices including London, Monaco, Hamburg and, between 2000 and 2013, Dubai.

Originally a Deck Officer, Harun holds a BSc in Ship Management Engineering from Istanbul Technical University - Maritime Faculty (with Distinction), a PgD in Marine Management from Southampton Solent University, UK, and an Executive MBA from Koc University, Istanbul. He has played a critical role in building up a market in Turkey for third-party ship management and offshore (oil & gas) sectors, has written various articles in shipping magazines and papers, and delivered shipping-related presentations at local and international conferences. He is a member of the International Propeller Club, in both Monaco and Istanbul.
