Frank Coles

Frank Coles holds a master's degree in maritime law from the University of Wales, Cardiff. He worked as a seafarer for 12 years and practised maritime law for 5 years before becoming operations director at Pacific Basin Bulk Shipping in Hong Kong. He went on to be Chief Executive Officer of Globe Wireless, President of Inmarsat Maritime, and Chief Executive Officer of the maritime software company Transas, later owned by Wärtsilä, as well as a director of Transas Marine. In September 2018 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Wallem Group.

He has spoken at five Mare Forum events between 2015 and 2019, including the 3rd, 4th and 5th Cayman Islands Shipping Summit and the 1st Mare Forum Oslo.
