Federica Barbaro

Federica Barbaro was born in Rome on December 24th, 1971. She graduated from L.U.I.S.S. University in Rome with a BA in Political Sciences in 1993. From 1994 to 2001 she served as Director of Finaval SpA and Interporto di Rivalta Scrivia SpA. She has been a director of Pietro Barbaro SpA since 2001, and in 2005 became Managing Director of PB Tankers SpA, the shipping division of the Pietro Barbaro Group, headquartered in Rome.

Federica Barbaro is a board member of the Italian Shipowners' Association (Confitarma), as well as a member of the Aspen Institute and of Fondo Nazionale Marittimi (Seafarers' National Fund). She is also Vice President of the Goca Foundation for contemporary art, in Palermo.
