Espen Gjerde

Espen Gjerde is Senior Vice President, New Energy at Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA, where he oversees the group's Shipping and Technology investment portfolio. He previously worked at DZ Bank and is a board member of Reach Subsea.

He has been a regular contributor to Mare Forum Oslo, giving the keynote at the 3rd edition (2022), moderating the 4th (2023) and chairing the 5th (2025); he was also a panellist at Mare Forum's Designing the Future of Shipping series.
