Dr. Elias Konofagos

Dr. Elias Konofagos is Executive Vice President E&P Development at FLOW Energy S.A., providing high-level E&P consulting services. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from E.P.F.L., a PhD (Docteur d'Etat es Sciences) on Oil & Gas Production, a qualification in Petroleum Economics from I.F.P., and is a Greek Eisenhower Fellow on Oil Exploration & Production and Energy.

He started his career with Elf Acquitaine (North Sea Heimdal Gas Field Development), then joined Mobil North Sea in Stavanger (Statfjord-B Oil & Gas Field), the Public Petroleum Corporation of Greece S.A. (supervision of the Prinos Oil Field and South Kavala Gas Field developments), Public Petroleum Corporation Exploration & Production S.A. (execution of the First Licensing Round in Greece), and Hellenic Petroleum S.A., acting as international E&P General Director. He has extensive worldwide Oil & Gas Exploration-Production experience managing E&P assets in Libya, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Montenegro, Albania, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and the North Sea, has handled contract negotiations for exploration and production licensing rounds in Greece and abroad, and has authored more than 120 scientific papers and studies in Greece and abroad.
