Donovan C. Walker

Donovan Walker has been an Attorney-at-Law since 1991. He is also a Notary Public and a Partner at Hart Muirhead Fatta, Jamaica. Donovan practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law, maritime law, conveyancing, financing and securities, mergers and acquisitions, international trade and investments, sports and entertainment law.

Donovan is currently the President of the Organization of Commonwealth Caribbean Bar Associations (OCCBA). He served as the President of the Jamaican Bar Association and is a Member of its Commercial Law, Publications, Maritime and Revenue Law Sub-Committees. He presently serves as a member of the General Legal Council, Jamaica.

Donovan is the Executive Chairperson of Subway (Jamaica) Limited (the owner and operator of the Subway franchise restaurants in Jamaica) and is a director of the First Global Bank Limited, the Companies Office of Jamaica, and the Maritime Authority of Jamaica.

He is an active Rotarian and a Distinguished Past President of the Rotary Club of Saint Andrew.

Donovan read for a Bachelor of Laws at the University of the West Indies as well as a Master of Laws at University College London. He also studied at the Norman Manley Law School, where he presently serves as an Associate Tutor.

He is named as a Band 1 leading commercial Attorney in Jamaica by Chambers Global.
