Cosimo Borrelli

Cosimo Borrelli is a Managing Director of Borrelli Walsh, a specialist restructuring, insolvency and forensic accounting firm with offices in Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore. Cos is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in formal and informal corporate restructuring, insolvency, forensic accounting and financial investigations, including appointments by courts as receiver, provisional liquidator, liquidator or scheme administrator, as well as engagements for lenders, financiers, distressed companies, creditors and investors. His assignments often have a cross-border focus, spanning Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands and the Bahamas, and he has been involved in some of the region's largest and most complex corporate collapses and investigations in recent years.

Cos is an Approved Liquidator in Singapore, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia, holds the HKICPA's specialist designation in insolvency, and holds a BA in Economics from the University of Adelaide. He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and serves as an independent non-executive director of two Singapore-listed companies.
