Corrado Antonini

Corrado Antonini joined Fincantieri's board as general manager in 1984, became Managing Director in 1985 and Chief Executive Officer in 1988, adding the chairman title in 1994. He served as executive chairman from 2000 until his retirement in 2012, and also chaired Euroyards, the European shipyards consortium, held positions with SEA Europe, and led Assonave, the Italian shipbuilders' association.

He held a law degree with honours and honorary titles of naval architect and MBA, and was awarded Italy's Cavaliere del Lavoro decoration, the Columbus Gold Medal of Genoa, and the Freedom of the City of Trieste.

He spoke as a panellist at six Mare Forum and European maritime policy events between 2005 and 2007. He died in 2018.
