Burak Cetinok was a drybulk analyst at Clarksons in 2012, covering drybulk commodity markets, fleet analysis and developments in freight rates and asset values. Earlier he was a Shipping Analyst at HSBC Shipping Services in London, and from 2005 to 2007 a planning engineer at Yardimci Shipyard in Turkey, working on newbuildings of small chemical and specialised tankers.
He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Southampton and an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School, City University London.
He was a panellist at the 12th Mare Forum Ship Finance in 2012 and the 4th Mare Forum Istanbul in 2013.
