Bart Otto has served as Managing Director of Flinter since 2005, holding bottom-line responsibility for the maritime logistical service provider, which manages around 50 seagoing vessels, generates revenues of approximately EUR 100 million and employs a total of 250 staff, including seafarers on board the fleet, across four countries.
From 2001 to 2004 he was Marine Centre Manager for the UK, Benelux and Ireland at Shell Marine Products, holding bottom-line responsibility for Shell's business selling and delivering lubricants and fuels to international and local marine customers. From 1999 to 2001 he was Finance Manager for North, Central & Eastern Europe at Shell Gas (LPG), part of Shell International Petroleum Company, managing 16 local operating units across 16 countries selling LPG in cylinders, bulk tanks, wholesale and auto-gas.
