Anuj Chopra

Anuj Chopra holds a Commonwealth Extra Master's Certificate and a management qualification from IIM Ahmedabad, and is a Fellow of the Nautical Institute and of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. He has more than three decades in the maritime industry, including as a ship's captain, as President of Anglo-Eastern Houston LLC and as Vice President - Americas at RightShip.

He is now Managing Director and founder of MaritimESG Middle East Projects Management LLC in Abu Dhabi, and co-founder of ESGPlus LLC in Texas, working on ESG integration and sustainable shipping operations.

He spoke at 12 Mare Forum events between 2008 and 2019.
