Andrea Di Bella, Middle East Area Manager of RINA Services S.p.A., was born in Genova, Italy in 1970, and graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Genova in 1995. In 1995 he was employed in Hong Kong by Finenco Engineering HK Co. Ltd, where he was involved in several shipbuilding projects in China and Vietnam.
In 2001 he joined RINA as project manager in the oil and gas sector, and was responsible for certification of the Green Stream gas sealine connecting Libya with Sicily. In 2003 he was responsible for RINA activities in Kazakhstan and led a team of RINA technicians providing Quality Assurance and Quality Control services to the major oil companies operating in the area. In 2008 he was responsible for the development and implementation of rules, procedures and instructions for RINA's industrial activities. In 2012 he was appointed Middle East Area Manager, with responsibility covering commercial, technical and management duties for Marine, Certification and Industrial activities.
