Ali Susanto

Ali Susanto joined Standard Chartered Bank in 2010 as a key member of the Ship Leasing team, responsible for originating, structuring and executing lease solutions to support shipping clients. Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank, Ali was a Senior Investment Manager with DVB SIIM in Singapore, where he focused on sourcing, structuring, managing and exiting the Asian shipping portfolio, comprising more than 60 vessels with over USD 1 billion in assets. Ali has 13 years of experience in banking, ship financing and ship leasing. He joined DVB in 2002 and started his career with the Corporate Finance Division of Bank Bali in Indonesia in 1995. Ali holds an MBA from TSM Business School, Twente, the Netherlands, and is a CFA charterholder.
