Dimitri G. Vassilacos

Since 2013, he is the Treasurer of the Propeller Club (Port of Piraeus). He also
supports institutions with an educational, artistic or environmental focus, by
assuming pro-bono board positions.

Dimitri is a senior shipping financier. He is the co-founder of Ship Finance Solutions,
a boutique financial consulting firm specialising in the shipping sector, advising
lenders and borrowers on ship finance matters.
Prior to launching SFS, he was a Managing Director & the Head of Greek Shipping at Citibank while before that, he had worked for National Bank of Greece, assuming various positions, including Manager of Shipping Division, General Manager of NBG London and Advisor to the Executive Chairman.
Dimitri holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from ‘Metsovio Polytechnio’, Athens, an MBA from HEC, Paris, and a MALD from Fletcher School, Tufts University, Boston.
